Steel Earnings Barometer:
SteelConsult International has developed the Steel Earnings Barometer to provide on-going insight into the financial performance of the steel industry. This Barometer is an index based on the EBITDA (US$ denominated) of the top publicly-listed steel-producing companies in the world and their regional operations, and is updated every quarter. It includes the performance of 51 of the world's top 80 mills by output, including 12 of the top 15 producers, and goes back as far as
Q1 1999.

The Iron Ore Earnings Barometer includes the major iron ore mining companies in the world, whilst the Automotive Earnings Barometer is based on the earnings of the top twelve automotive OEM's.
